TWIST A: SHORT FORM SIMPLIFIED
We make the entire show only 60 seconds long, and Contestants have to answer all the Hip Hop history questions right in 60 seconds. Easily repeatable (50+episodes), added level of stakes + simplified.
TWIST B: CELEBRITY VS FAN
Every 5 to 10 episodes we have a celebrity, an influencer or someone from the hip-hop world face off against a fan the entire episode. Can work with either the longer format or 60 second format of the show.
HIP HOP IMPROV
Two Rappers battle it out freestyle with a twist: they don't know the topic they have to rap about until they hit the stage.
It's an old school bars competition with an old improv game twist. Two rappers battle it out to see who can spit better freestyle, but the catch is they don't know what their topic is until they hit the stage. With 30 seconds to prepare and 60 seconds to entertain, this show is creative, easily repeated and fast paced.
One host, two contestants, 3 judges, 2-3 camera setup. 4-5 minute run time.
TWIST A: MAKE IT LIVE Either in front of a live audience, live stream on social media or BOTH (so the audience chooses a winner and eliminate the need for judges)
HIP HOP ORIGIN STORY
Everyone remembers their origin story, that one pivotal moment that changed the course of their entire life and allowed them to truly take flight. We explore the origin stories of the hip hop world in this quick hit, partly animated docu series.
A short form docu-series interviewing artists on their "hip hop origin story". Would produce animation to follow the story to serve as broll with the talking head. Focus on finding wild/crazy/funny stories that got the artist into the genre.
5-10 Minute Docu Series Episodes, single camera crew, RED BULL style light/cheaper animations, but eye catching and entertaining.
HIP HOP IN THE COMMUNITY
Hip Hop does so much more than give the world great beats and bars, it also changes lives and communities that need support most.
A short form docu-series touching on how the hip-hop community runs much deeper than the music. In 5-10 minute episodes, slice of life docu-series style, we find the best community initiatives/stories/after school programs etc. that are connected to the hip hop world and showcase how hip-hop continues to help dreamers of all ages and backgrounds find their wings.
